Celebrating Seven Years of Magical Moments with Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery!
Seven is the most powerful magical number in Harry Potter. It’s woven into the very fabric of the books and lore—seven Horcruxes, seven books in the series, and seven years spent at Hogwarts. Seven marks the age by which magic typically manifests in young witches and wizards. Even the names of famous spells and characters align with this number’s mystical significance. Now, as Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery reaches its seventh anniversary, we’re celebrating this incredible milestone with our players who have shared in this journey.
From its launch back in 2018, this special story-driven, mobile RPG has continued to evolve, building on and continuously improving its greatest strength: narrative. With its engaging storylines and characters set in the world of Harry Potter, Hogwarts Mystery even won a coveted Webby award in 2024 for its biggest game expansion to date – Beyond Hogwarts.

The Hogwarts Diary presents a gripping new mystery as rumors swirl that the school’s founders may be displeased with the state of Hogwarts. Students whisper of strange, elemental disasters striking the castle, but are the spirits of the founders truly responsible?
Egg-citing Magical Creature Updates!
You are NOT seeing double. There are two Horned Serpents in the Creature Reserve! Dive into an exciting adventure in April to sort out why a second Horned Serpent has migrated to the reserve and take on an un-egg-spected mission.
There’s also a spiny new Magical Creature coming to the Open Ocean soon! This one will be quite the catch, so be sure to add it to your collection when it arrives.
A Very Weasley Beyond Hogwarts Special Preview!
Time for you Weasley fans to get excited! For students who have not yet graduated from Hogwarts – don’t miss the return of our “Flight of the Weasleys” Special Adventure – coming 23 April!
