8 Magical Years of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery
Eight years ago, in April 2018, Harry Potter fans received their letters from Hogwarts and began writing their own story in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Since then we've had plenty to celebrate:

This anniversary is a celebration of the players, the adventures, and the magic we've built together. And to mark the occasion, we're bringing a host of special content and events to the game including a brand-new adventure with Rowan, a major milestone in Beyond Hogwarts, and limited-time events filled with magical surprises.

Something Wicked This Way Comes…in Beyond Hogwarts Volume 3!
On 15 April, your adventure continues in the main quest as Beyond Hogwarts Volume 3 arrives in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery! Experience the climactic conclusion of Volume 2 in Chapter 30, as your personal life and professional life come crashing into each other…leading into the first Chapter of Volume 3.
As the wizarding world reels from the news of Sirius Black's escape from Azkaban, you'll find that there are even bigger problems to deal with as you continue your investigation of rumoured Cursed Vaults hidden beyond the walls of Hogwarts. It's not all doom and gloom, however, as your journey includes a welcome reunion with the whole Weasley family, and a surprise celebration with family and friends. There may even be another Harry Potter sighting in your near future…
For players who have not yet graduated from Hogwarts and gone Beyond - there's still time to opt-in for a chance to get a sneak peek at the adventures to be had as an adult in the wizarding world! Log in now to opt-in, and prepare to join Dobby on the Knight Bus in the “A Knight Out” Beyond Hogwarts Special Preview. In it, you'll meet with Dobby at the Leaky Cauldron before setting off on a quest to help him find his first job since becoming a free elf!
Keep an eye out for a special gift to decorate your room, just in time for the launch of Volume 3!
Alluring Anniversary Adventures!
All players will have plenty to celebrate this month, including exciting mysteries to solve, magical giveaways and more:
- Anniversary Giveaway: Starting 1 April, players can log in to unlock an 8th Anniversary themed reward, customized for each Hogwarts House
- New Special Adventures: Join your best friend Rowan for a trip to the Khanna Family farm, where something unseen stirs - casting a shadow over your idyllic getaway and threatening the farm's very existence! You'll also be tasked in another adventure with helping collect stories, and disproving dark rumours, about Hogwart's prestigious Headmaster, Professor Dumbledore!
- New Hogwarts Diary Mystery: A mysterious chest, believed to have belonged to Newt Scamander, has been found at Hogwarts! Can you find the five keys needed to unlock it and complete this fantastic challenge?
- Celebrate Earth Day: We'll be celebrating Earth Day throughout the month alongside Professor Sprout and Hagrid with in-game giveaways and other surprises. Don't miss the fun!
